Find a female driving instructor near you.
Learning to drive means hours alone in a car with your instructor. Sawari helps you find a licensed female instructor close to home, so you feel safe, respected and free to learn at your own pace.
Every instructor is a woman, licensed, and checked by Sawari before she is listed.
Most of the women who come to Sawari are learning for the first time, coming back to driving after years away, or trying again after a bad experience. Many simply feel safer with a woman in the car. Every instructor here is a woman, licensed, and chosen because she teaches with patience.
Send a short note. She calls you back. You agree on lessons and pricing directly with her, and Sawari never charges you a cent.
Booking for your daughter? Send the request on her behalf. You are welcome to speak to the instructor first.

Why women choose Sawari
Your safety comes first
Hours alone in a car should never feel uncomfortable. Every Sawari instructor is a woman, so you can concentrate on the road, not on who is sitting beside you.
Checked before she is listed
Every instructor holds a provincial licence and teaches through a licensed school where the law requires it. Sawari reviews each application by hand before a profile goes live. How we check
No awkwardness, no lectures
Just a woman who remembers what it felt like to learn, and knows how to make it click. You talk to her directly about times and prices; Sawari makes the introduction, then steps back.
“She is patient and an amazing teacher. She helps build confidence when driving. I passed on my first try thanks to her careful guidance.”

Questions women ask us
What is Sawari?
Sawari is a network of licensed female driving instructors in Ontario. You search by city or postal code, choose an instructor, and send a short request. She contacts you directly to arrange lessons. Sawari is free for learners and never adds a fee.
Are all Sawari driving instructors women?
Yes. Every instructor listed on Sawari is a woman who holds a provincial driving instructor licence and, where the law requires it, teaches through a licensed driving school. Sawari reviews each application by hand before a profile is published.
Which cities have a female driving instructor on Sawari?
Today: Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Milton and Mississauga, with more cities as instructors join. If yours is not listed, request an instructor and Sawari will email you when a female instructor joins near you.
How much do driving lessons with a Sawari instructor cost?
Each instructor sets her own prices and tells you directly when she contacts you. Some publish their prices on their profile. There is no charge from Sawari for finding or contacting an instructor.
Can a female instructor take me to my G2 or G road test?
Many Sawari instructors offer road-test support. That usually means preparation lessons on the test routes, a mock test, and on test day pickup in her insured car, which you then use for the test itself. Each profile shows what she offers and the DriveTest centres she serves.
Do I need a G1 licence before taking lessons?
Yes. In Ontario you need at least a G1 licence to practise driving with an instructor. If you already hold a G2, an instructor can prepare you for the full G road test.
What happens after I send a request?
Your chosen instructor receives your name, phone number, email and what you need, and contacts you directly, usually within a day or two. A few days later Sawari sends one short email to check that you connected. Your details are never shared with anyone else.
Can I book a female driving instructor for my daughter?
Yes. Many requests come from mothers. Send the request in your own name with your daughter’s details in the message, or in her name with your phone number, and the instructor will call whoever you prefer. Your daughter needs her own G1 licence before lessons can start.
Is Sawari a driving school?
No. Sawari introduces you to independent licensed instructors and the driving schools they work with. The instructor and her school provide the lessons, set the prices and take payment. Sawari makes the introduction and follows up to keep the network useful.
